What $ 402.00 buys

A numbered Lordship in the House you choose: the title Lord of that House, your place on its roster and on The Founding 402, and a crest that is yours alone. It is a title in a registry, not a fighter.

Your prime fighter, forged from your wallet at no extra charge — the same fighter the $0.10 forge would give you, derived from your address and nobody else's. A wallet that already has its prime is not given a second one; one wallet, one prime, forever, whatever anybody pays.

The two are independent from the moment they exist. The Lordship can be sold or given away and the fighter stays with you; the fighter can win, lose, reign and strike heirs and the Lordship is untouched. Your prime's own House is derived from your address and may not be the House whose Lordship you hold.

The supply

All 402 are sold to the public and the house holds none. Every House seats 50; 402 does not divide by 8, so two Houses carry a 51st. Which two is declared in advance, because a crest derives from its House and slot and no emblem may depend on a choice nobody has made yet.

The crests were sealed before the sale opened

Every Lordship's crest derives from a single random salt, and SHA-256 of that salt is published before the first sale. The salt itself is published when the last Lordship is sold, so anyone can re-derive all 402 crests and confirm that none was chosen, reordered or assigned by hand.

The house keeps none

All 402 Lordships are sold to the public. The house buys none, holds none, and keeps no allocation of any kind.

There is no house allocation, no reserve, no team tranche and no phase in which the public is held back — every one of the 402 is bought by somebody else, at the same price, through the same route. Two Houses carry a 51st only because 402 does not divide by eight: House Sandgrave and House Deepmere take the remainder, declared in advance so that every crest is sealed before the first sale.

What the money does

The prime's portrait is paid out of the sale itself — no free renders and no draw on match fees. Nothing from the sale touches the jackpot, the seat reserve or champion escrow.

The sale is final

The sale is final at settlement. There are no buyer-initiated refunds, and there is no refund if a portrait fails to render — the Lordship is what the money bought, it exists the moment the payment does, and a wallet whose prime fails to render can forge it again for ten cents.

A Lordship transfers, forever

A Lordship transfers at any time, forever. Sell it at a price you set, or give it away for nothing; the crest, the number and the full history of who has held it travel with the title. Your fighter never transfers — a prime is derived from its wallet's address and belongs to it permanently.

It confers standing, not income

A Lordship confers standing, not income and not a vote. It pays no revenue share, earns no fee discount, and has no claim on the jackpot. If governance is ever built, it would arrive as a grant to whoever holds these titles at that time — that is a design decision on record, not a promise being sold. Any role a Lordship is ever given in scheduling — putting a fighter's name forward onto a card, or standing as steward of a House's house-operated characters — is credit in the Chronicle and nothing else: no purse, no priority, no claim on any character, and it confers no income and never will. A steward is not an owner. Neither may be sold or delegated apart from the title itself.
